Palo Santo

This sacred wood is traditionally used to bless and cleanse your mind, body, soul and space from negative energies and promotes positive energies in its place.

To cleanse your space:

Simply light your smudge stick, blow out the flame and allow to smolder. With all windows open and while carrying a heat-proof plate filled with salt, start at your front door and walk around your space in a clockwise direction allowing the smoke to fill every corner in every room. Continue in a clockwise direction from room to room until you reach the front door again. When you are finished, press your smudge stick into the salt in your heat-proof dish until completely extinguished. Never leave your smudge stick burning unattended.

Affirmation:

I cleanse this space of all negative energies that no longer serve to help me achieve my highest good. I invite only positive energies into this space that encourage growth, peace and joy. 

To cleanse yourself or another person:

Simply light your smudge stick, blow out the flame and allow to smolder. With all windows open and a heat-proof plate filled with salt nearby, start above your head. In a clockwise motion, slowly circle around your body from head to toe allowing the smoke to surround every inch of your body. Continue in a clockwise motion back up your body until you reach above your head again. When you are finished, press your smudge stick into the salt in your heat-proof dish until completely extinguished. Never leave your smudge stick burning unattended.

Affirmation:

I cleanse this mind, body and soul of all negative thoughts, emotions, habits and energies that no longer help me to achieve my highest good. I release all stress, anxiety and trauma, and welcome only positive energies, thoughts and emotions to fill my mind, body and soul.
